In La Maddalena, after the resignation of the delegated councilor Stefano Cossu, who recently moved to the opposition, and the very recent resignation of the external councilor Claudio Tollis, «disappointed by the now evident inconcreteness of the administration», commented from the minority benches, Rosanna Giudice , Annalisa Gulino and Alberto Mureddu, «it is now clear that the majority, just over a year after the end of the failed mandate, is wavering heavily». This is from a political point of view; from the administrative one, the same councilors stigmatize the fact that there have been, in "4 years, 4 increases in TARI tariffs". Without prejudice, they write, «that it was possible to intervene on a rationalization of costs, reducing, for example, some fractions that are more expensive than others, such as dry goods, an action that was not implemented, the reality is that the tariffs for maddalenini will increase by 10% in 2024 and 10% in 2025, a good 20% more in the two-year period."

And giving a concrete example, Giudice, Gulino and Mureddu always write, «a family of 2 people, for a house of 75 m2, paid 278 euros in 2023, in 2024 they will pay 305. A commercial catering business of m2 100, in 2023 he paid 1770 euros, in 2024 he will pay 1946". Without prejudice to the increase in the cost of fuel, although the Region has given contributions in this sense, the three opposition councilors believe that the increases could have been offset by using part of the landing contribution.

«It's a shame», they conclude, «not to be fortunate enough to be administered with the same effectiveness as neighboring municipalities, such as that of Olbia which, despite having the same constraints imposed by ARERA, has managed not only not to increase the TARI but, even, to reduce it."
