La Maddalena, the Municipality invests 46 thousand euros to clean up the bed of the watercourses
The maintenance interventions will be carried out by a company in the country

17,566 euros have arrived from the Region, while 28,000 have been withdrawn from the municipal coffers.
With almost 46 thousand euros, on the interest of the maintenance delegate, Luca Falchi, it will be possible to guarantee the ordinary maintenance of the watercourses. This is a necessary intervention, which is repeated every year, but which is increasingly important, not only due to the risk of torrential rains (a phenomenon which has accentuated in recent years) and in order to avoid harmful consequences but also because, year after year, along these watercourses, the natural growth of the vegetation adds the incivility of some people who leave various types of rubbish there.
The watercourses, open or partially buried, subject to intervention are: in Località Renella and Via Comandante Avegno; Location Nido d'Aquila; Via Cesaraccio; Via Cala Chiesa. All for a total intervention area of 4,965 square meters. The operations will consist of cleaning and removal of waste, grooming of shrubs and uprooting of brambles and weeds, elimination of reeds, removal of boulders and debris. The works will be carried out by a company from La Maddalena.
