"I hope that this initiative will continue over the years, also because I intend to leave this place to the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park." This was declared late this morning by the Maddalena entrepreneur Antonello Ornano, at the end of the conference held in his property , in Abbatoggia, on the activities and future of the National Park itself, a conference held at the end of the Abba Fest, an event dedicated to the valorization of the archaeological and environmental heritage of the seabed.

In particular, it concerns a large portion of the Abbatoggia peninsula with a campsite and premises. "Since I have no heirs, I leave all my properties to the La Maddalena National Park," reiterated, at the end of the conference, Antonello Ornano, an entrepreneur, formerly involved in politics in the Christian Democrats, city councilor and president of the Council itself during the first term of mayor Angelo Comiti. The news was welcomed with understandable favor and satisfaction by the commissioner of the National Park, Rosanna Giudice, present at the event. "He will donate all this goodness to the Park Authority," commented Giudice, "also because he was a supporter of the Park, someone who always believed in it, who practically created it and who believes it is an economic driver for La Maddalena. I have known this for some time," added Rosanna Giudice, "obviously I couldn't reveal it until he did it himself. And I believe that what Antonello Ornano announced today has already been formalized and signed."
