Jerzu, injures leg with a motor hoe: 55-year-old in serious condition

Serious accident in the early afternoon in the Jerzu countryside.
A 55-year-old man, Mario Mameli, seriously injured his leg while working on a field with a motor hoe.
The man, reached by the 118 helicopter rescue crew, was transported to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.
He suffered serious injuries but his life is not in danger.
Firefighters and carabinieri were also on site.
