Difficulties are growing in the Sulcis Iglesiente local health authority, where the workload is increasing but the staff is not. Thus FP Cgil, FP Cisl, UilTucs and Fials proclaimed the state of agitation of the workers, who - in the absence of an agreement - are ready to strike.
«Given an insufficient technical, socio-medical and health workforce which puts the LEAs and the health and safety of workers at risk - the unions write - we ask for the postponement of the activation of the territorial operations centers scheduled from 1 June» .
«We ask - observe the territorial secretaries Monica Secci, Carlo Pintus, Efisio Aresti and Teresa Agus - that the COT be activated after the hiring of the staff dedicated to the service , especially after having remedied the chronic contraction of the staff in all the operational units of the ASL Sulcis Iglesiente . We ask that this reorganization does not take place in conjunction with the summer holiday period which involves a reduction in staff and an increase in the population."
