This is what was decided by the judges of the Court of Cagliari who agreed with the lawyer of a woman from Monastir who had been infected by the hepatitis virus after a transfusion received in the 1980s.

After a complex legal dispute, which also reached the Administrative Court, the Ministry of Health paid approximately 100 thousand euros in compensation (the accumulation of arrears). In addition to this, the patient will also receive a monthly pension from today.
