The Sardinia Region, through its Health Department, has published the new call for free choice pediatrics for the assignment of permanent positions.

Notice, expiring at the end of the month, which fully acknowledges the agreement between the Region and the trade unions signed at the end of last year for the strengthening of pediatric assistance in the area, which led to an integration of the offices of the Island.

Thirteen locations in total: two for the Cagliari Area Vasta district (which includes the municipalities of Cagliari, Monserrato, Quartucciu and Selargius, with the obligation to open one of the two banned offices in Selargius); one for the Sarrabus-Gerrei district (Castiadas, Muravera, San Vito, Villaputzu, Villasimius, Solanas); one for the Carbonia district (Calasetta, Sant'Antioco), one for Nuoro and one for its district (Olzai, Orotelli, Ottana); one office for the district of Oristano (Baratici San Pietro, Bauladu, Milis, Narbolia, Nurachi, Ollastra, Riola Sardo, San Vero Milis, Siamaggiore, Solarussa, Tramatza, Villanova Truschedu, Zeddiani and Zerfaliu), one for Bosa; an office for the district of Ozieri (Ardara, Ittireddu, Mores, Nughedu San Nicolò, Ozieri, Pattada, Tula); two offices for Sassari and one for its district (Castelsardo, Nulvi, Santa Maria Coghinas, Tergu, Valledoria, Viddalba); one for the district of Alghero (Ittiri, Monteleone Rocca Doria, Putifigari, Uri, Villanova Monteleone).

"On the issue of pediatric care in Sardinia - underlined the councilor for Health, Mario Nieddu - we have the utmost attention on our part. The demographic dynamics have prompted us to work on an important agreement with the trade unions to bring of the changes that today allow us to increase the number of pediatricians where necessary. The new call follows the work carried out in recent months precisely to give better responses to pediatric care in the area ".
