In Cagliari, the red zone has been established up to Viale La Playa. Shopkeepers and residents are saying, "Good, but we're still scared."

On Monday, the announcement was made by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi at the end of the summit on security and public order at the Palazzo Regio in Cagliari: it was decided to extend the red zone in Piazza del Carmine and to extend the perimeter with reinforced controls by the police up to the station and Viale La Playa.

Shopkeepers and residents of lower Stampace welcomed the decision, but fear continues to surface in the streets of the historic neighborhood.
