Tragedy this morning at Poetto, in front of the Ottagono factory .
A 38-year-old man, Alberto Matta di Ussana , died while he was in the water about fifty meters from the shore.
He was rowing on a rubber dinghy and stopped on the buoy of the Octagon. He got sick and tried to swim to shore.
Noticed from the rescue post, he was rescued and dragged ashore but despite the resuscitation maneuvers he was not saved .
On the spot the carabinieri. The body was returned to the family.
