An 82-year -old German passenger with a heart attack was rescued by the Harbor Master's Office aboard the Maltese-flagged cruise ship “Mein Schiff Herz” sailing off the coast of northern Sardinia .

The offshore patrol boat of the Coast Guard of La Maddalena , the CP 306, embarked the medical staff of 118 and reached the ship: the man was transhipped north of the island of Corcelli to undergo first medical treatment and , subsequently, disembarked in Palau, where the medical ambulance of Santa Teresa di Gallura immediately transported the passenger to the hospital in Olbia .
