Head-on collision between a Peugeot and a Range Rover on Provincial Road 4, near San Sperate .

The toll is three injured, one of whom was transferred to the hospital in red code aboard an India ambulance activated by Uta. One of the involved was thrown out of the vehicle: he was in the field next to the road, where he was given first aid.

According to an initial reconstruction , the violent, high-speed impact could have been caused by a mechanical failure of one of the two cars that lost grip while it was moving.
