Hell of fire in Abbasanta: 5 aircraft in flight to tame the flames

The teams of the Forestry Corps in action to tame a vast fire that developed in the late afternoon of Friday near the Nuraghe Losa in Abbasanta .

On site, in addition to the ground crew, 3 regional helicopters , the twin-engine of the Sardinia Region and two Canadair , one of which took off from Olbia, also went into action.

This is the 17th fire that broke out in Sardinia on Friday 15 July.

Just the Oristanese, in the summer of 2021, was the scene of a devastating series of fires that caused extensive damage to the territory of numerous municipalities.
