Heavy rains in the Sulcis area and flooded cellars: the firefighters' first interventions

The first effects of the bad weather were felt especially in the Sulcis area . Heavy rains during the night caused flooding in some cellars of homes in Domusnovas .

Firefighters responded to the scene to help those in need. Reports have also been received from other municipalities in Sulcis Iglesiente, but fortunately, so far, the incidents have not been particularly serious and no injuries have been reported.

No particular problems were reported in the rest of southern Sardinia.
