Missing for 24 hours in the rugged Su Lilloni area, between Pula, Sarroch, and Villa San Pietro, the victim of the ordeal, which fortunately ended happily, was a 51-year-old man who had ventured into the area for a picnic but became disoriented.

Following the alarm, a Fire Brigade Advanced Command Post was established on the scene, and the firefighters deployed canine units and speleo-alpine-river units. The drones of the SAPR unit and the Drago 144 helicopter were also in action.

In the end, the long search yielded positive results: the man was located, cold and dehydrated , but in good general health, and then recovered and entrusted to medical personnel for treatment.
