Tragic hunting accident in the early afternoon in the countryside of Urzulei.
The victim is a 50-year-old from Lotzorai, who died of a gunshot from his own rifle that left him no way out.
According to an initial reconstruction, the hunter tripped and a shot was fired from the rifle that hit him in the chest.
At the scene of the accident, in the locality of Morgongiuri, the 118 doctors arrived and tried to save his life, but there was nothing to do for the hunter. The carabinieri are now trying to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy, first of all hearing the witnesses of the victim's hunting company.
A relative of the 50-year-old, who was present on the spot, accused of an illness. He was transported to the hospital at San Francesco di Nuoro.
