He steals documents and credit cards from a parked car, then discovered by the police he tries to escape: under arrest

He was caught during some checks while he was driving his car, in the San Benedetto area of Cagliari , with various documents, credit cards and other personal effects registered to a third person , probably a victim of theft.

A 32-year-old local man was then arrested on suspicion of aggravated theft as well as resisting a public official .

In fact, once discovered by state police officers, the 32-year-old, who was also hiding a pair of sharp-tipped kitchen scissors in his pocket, attempted to flee on foot, but was caught and stopped shortly afterwards by the police , after having put up strenuous resistance.

All the objects found were returned to the victim , who declared that they had been stolen from her car parked in a nearby street and after the front window had been shattered.

The facts ascertained by the State Police officers were submitted to the GIP who validated the arrest, applying the measure of precautionary custody in the Uta prison.
