He sneaks into the parish priest's house and steals gold, silver and the offerings of the faithful: 54-year-old under arrest in Domusnovas

A 54-year-old from Iglesias , with police prejudices against him, was arrested in Domusnovas by the carabinieri for theft .

The man, after having forced the lock of the entrance door, had entered the parish house of the Sant'Ignazio da Laconi church , currently in use by the pro tempore parish priest , stealing various gold and silver jewels as well as 600 euros in cash , income from offerings of the faithful.

The stolen goods were entirely recovered and returned to the parish priest .

The man was accompanied to his home in Iglesias under house arrest, today the rite for direct line to Cagliari.
