A 37-year-old Brazilian man was arrested in Olbia on charges of attempted murder of his pregnant partner in his home country.
He had been in Gallura for over a year and had taken up residence in Budoni . According to Brazilian investigators, before leaving the country he shot his pregnant partner, who is miraculously alive .
The agents of the Flying Squad, together with their colleagues from the Olbia police station, executed a prison order issued by the Court of Appeal of Sassari following an international arrest warrant against him.
The 37-year-old is now being held in Bancali prison .
