A Venetian tourist got lost while trekking to Villagrande Strisaili .

It took the intervention of the CNSAS ( National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps ) to save the hiker, a 58-year-old woman.

The tourist lost her bearings in the Sothai Falls area , during the trekking route that leads to the view of the waterfall.

At a certain point she realized that she was no longer on the path and, having no more reference points, she sent the request for help via her phone.

Shortly after 3 pm a team left from the Ogliastra station , which located the woman at 4.30 pm and concluded the rescue operations at 5.20 pm, after having ascertained the health conditions of the woman, who was taken back to the parking lot.
