Collu was well-known: young but with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a lover of the sea, he had started a boating business in Marina Piccola . On social media, as the hours passed, memories of a young man "with kind eyes" multiplied, as those who knew him well wrote.

The family who supported him found it impossible that such a common illness could lead to such a premature end, which shocked the young man's parents and all his friends and acquaintances.
