Guspini, take out insurance at a bargain price online: but it's a scam

The Carabinieri of Guspini have reported a forty-one year old from Cirò Marina, in the Crotone area, for aggravated fraud. The victim was a 47-year-old from Guspini, who last June was looking for opportunities on the web to take out car RCA insurance.

So he found an offer proposed by a so-called operator of a well-known insurance company , for which he could get by for a year with only 236.44 euros . He then sent the payment via bank transfer, following which he received the payment receipt and contract.

But the insurance coverage never took effect. And the police have identified the perpetrator of the scam.
