Now there is a fundamental problem to be solved, that of the Green pass expiring for thousands of citizens who have not yet made the third dose, because reservations go until March and April. As we know the reinforced green certificate, from February 1st it will be up only to those who have completed the immunization cycle, the Government is evaluating the issue (together with a series of other measures, such as the elimination of colors for the regions), but in the meantime the problem also afflicts many Sardinians, as evidenced by the regional councilor of the Democratic Party Rossella Pinna: "How should citizens behave who in a few days will no longer have a valid certificate but are unable to booster immediately?". Health councilor Mario Nieddu replies: "We have given a mandate to all vaccination hubs to promote Open Day, and they are also accepting those who show up for the booster even without a reservation".

The dilemma

"Thousands of Sardinian citizens waiting to take the third dose, are receiving the ministry's SMS that warns that" the green Covid certification is no longer valid from 1 February. To renew, a booster dose is required ”. So, in fact, the suspension of the Green pass is announced in a few days, with all the inconveniences and consequences that derive from it ". Rossella Pinna wrote a letter to the Department of Health, pointing out the fact that "many recipients of the message at the moment do not have the possibility to do the booster , because booking times in some ASL arrive even in April 2022". And he asks: Will citizens be able to continue working and living peacefully until the date on which they have the reservation for the third dose, even with all the necessary prudence?

The mandate

The councilor for health Mario Nieddu stresses that he has given a mandate "to all vaccination hubs to promote Open day", ie open vaccination days, without the need for an appointment. Furthermore, "the same hubs are also accepting those who show up to receive the booster dose, even without a reservation". And he adds: "It is true that without the third dose the Green pass will expire, but the Government is thinking of changing its validity." Meanwhile, "for our part, we promote Open days and, in any case, those who arrive at the center without a reservation are not sent away".

The decree under study

For students who end up in Dad there will be no quarantine but self-monitoring: only remote lessons for a certain period. A first measure is ready to lead the way in a series of changes coming in addition to the school. However, the measures will come only with a decree or Dpcm next week and, as has already emerged from the technical tables that follow one another in these days, will concern quarantines, tests, counting admissions and a simplification of the color system of the regions: yellow and orange are not there should be more, in addition to the white area, only the red will remain. The possibility of avoiding the use of distance learning for students vaccinated in elementary school is also being studied.
