The carabinieri of San Nicolò Gerrei, at the conclusion of an investigation carried out with colleagues from the Aversa station (Caserta), resulting from the complaint filed last September 26 by a fifty-year-old from Silius, reported a 47-year-old from Caserta with precedents for aggravated fraud.

In July 2021, the complainant had bought DIY products online for an amount of 170 euros, without ever receiving the ordered goods. Subsequent attempts to contact customer support, even through the contact details indicated on the site, proved to be completely useless.

Subsequent investigations made it possible to ascertain that the accused is in fact the legal representative of that resale and the real recipient of the proceeds from the transaction. It was the carabinieri of San Nicolò Gerrei who contacted their colleagues in Aversa to understand more about what happened, thus discovering that it was not the first time that a similar episode had occurred with that site.

A BURCEI - A similar case also in Burcei, where the carabinieri following the complaint filed by a 28-year-old local, reported a 65-year-old originally from Bitti but residing in Olbia, unemployed, cleansed for aggravated fraud.

In December, the complainant had bought a refrigerated counter on the web for 200 euros, but received an appliance in poor condition, rusty and without an engine.
