From Poland to Montiferru for a cuncordu singing course. The Erasmus project in which 7 Polish students will take part was born from an idea of the Sas Bator Colonnas group to propose training seminars on multi-voice guttural singing as an experience and already in November 2021 an agreement was signed with the Academy of Fine Arts Krakow for a 5-day intensive course on what is considered one of the most ancient traditions of Sardinia.

The children will stay in Scano di Montiferro and live the everyday life of the village, the one to which the title of the project refers, “Inclusion through action”, inclusion through action.

The course, entirely in English, will be divided into several parts, from linguistic and text analysis to vocal technique. While one day will be dedicated to the knowledge of other singing traditions, such as Bosa and Santu Lussurgiu for example, another to the rites and songs of Holy Week.
