Twenty-one maximum degrees in Lanusei and in some areas of the Ogliastra coast, but also 20 in Alghero, 19 in Orosei and Tempio, 18 in Cagliari and Sassari.

All with a clear or partly cloudy sky over the whole island. Spring New Year in Sardinia, with the African anticyclone that requires a winter break.

"The weather is now tending to stabilize - confirms Alessandro Gallo, an expert at Meteo Network Sardinia - already reaching typically spring temperatures, almost from the beginning of summer, which will remain stable at least until after New Year's Eve".

For the moment, Sardinia can therefore archive the rains of recent days and the snowfalls of late November, greeting the new year with a decidedly pleasant climate.

"The thermal values are still gradually increasing - explains the meteorologist -, we will have highs of 20 degrees for New Year's Eve, but also something more in some areas of the region. In particular, the effect of African high pressure and the high geopotential there they will offer a few days of temperate climate. So we will leave 2021 with a partly cloudy sky, except for some weak thickening or haze in transit, welcoming the new year without significant changes ".

The only drawback could come from the winds. They have been strong all week but will now drop in intensity, albeit with a faint breeze still present between the evening of December 31st and January 1st.

The meteorologists of the Arpas of Sassari confirm a first day of 2022 with clear and partly cloudy skies, however, announcing possible mists in the morning.
