Fishing ban due to the shooting range, compensation awards held in Sant'Anna Arresi: "Employees at work with tears in their eyes."
A bureaucratic requirement caused by the presence of the star-studded area, described in an almost "romantic" way by Mayor Paolo Luigi Dessì: "Thanks to the military who helped our employees."Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
At the Capo Teulada shooting range, shootings are rampant; fishermen (the real ones, unlike the many "fake" ones discovered over the years) are barred from fishing. And in Teulada, as in Sant'Anna Arresi, people survive thanks to state compensation.
A "manna" that comes from the Ministry of Defense, which on the one hand prevents the development of business activities related to the sea and on the other provides money in exchange for the blockade.
And how is this procedure handled in Sant'Anna Arresi? "With tears in my eyes," says Mayor Paolo Luigi Dessì.
He wrote a post on the administration's official page describing the completion of bureaucratic procedures as something almost epic and stoic.
"Compensation for fisheries workers isn't just any old process, because all of us, from our fellow administrators to the workers of this Municipality, know well that behind every compensation there are projects, small or large things to accomplish, small or large needs to meet, there are the expectations of our people, our families, simply there is the existence of people with all the joy and anxiety that it brings," is the premise.
"This is why everyone involved has worked hard over the past few weeks , going well beyond mere 'office work', well beyond mere 'office hours', addressing every single problem with dedication, a spirit of collaboration and sacrifice, and never losing sight of the main objective, which must be pursued at all costs," continues the mayor. "The employees who truly worked tirelessly, even for days in despair and sometimes with tears in their eyes; the military personnel who supported them from Rome, Cagliari, Teulada, and Perdasdefogu; the system administrator, and my colleagues from the Municipality of Teulada: I am deeply grateful to each and every one of them."
