Fire in the Ussana countryside: a small fox saved from the flames

Ground teams and air vehicles in action to put out a fire that broke out in the Ussana countryside.

On site, in addition to the men of the Dolianova Forestry Corps, there was also a helicopter that took off from the Pula operational base and a heavy SuperPuma helicopter, coming from Fenosu.

The flames affected the Su Tistivillu area, bordering the territory of Monastir, in particular uncultivated land and vegetation on the Rio Flumineddu .

The operators saved a fox cub from the flames , which is now in the hands of veterinarians at the Forestas Wildlife Recovery Centre in Monastir.
