Fire in a house in the Assemini countryside: an eighty-year-old man rescued
Firefighters and 118 operators arrived on site and transported the elderly man to the hospital with a yellow code

During the night, a fire affected a rural house in a countryside area near the provincial road 2 , in the municipality of Assemini.
The alarm was raised via the emergency number 112, which activated the operations room of the Cagliari fire brigade. Two teams from the headquarters immediately intervened with a fire engine, a tanker and a total of seven operators.
The flames engulfed the entire structure and, during the extinguishing operations, the firefighters identified some LPG cylinders , proceeding to secure them. Once the extinguishing operation was completed, investigations were started to establish the causes of the fire.
Inside the house there was an 80-year-old man, rescued by medical personnel and transported to the hospital with a yellow code for checks. His conditions are not worrying.
