Over 1,300 people arrested, approximately 10,000 reported at large, 30 marijuana farms seized for a total of over 98,000 plants. These are some of the figures from the Carabinieri's operational review of the past year in Sardinia, compiled by General Francesco Rizzo during the celebrations for the 212th anniversary of the force's founding. The ceremony was held in Cagliari, at the Zuddas barracks on Via Sonnino.

« The "Our journey will continue unwaveringly, following the course of our ethical compass," General Rizzo highlighted during his speech. "Prevention and counteraction work is being carried out on various levels: from the fight against organised crime to the protection of vulnerable groups, urban and road safety, and social reassurance."

At the end of the celebrations, the attending authorities presented awards to the members of the Sardinia Carabinieri Legion who had particularly distinguished themselves in their service activities.
