Fears erupt in Nuoro as an ATP bus catches fire, with flames reaching homes.

Fear erupted this morning in Nuoro, where a bus operated by ATP, the city's public transport company, was destroyed by a fire that broke out while it was parked at the depot on Via Sardegna.

The flames quickly engulfed the bus completely and, due to the intensity of the fire, spread to nearby homes, causing moments of apprehension among residents.

Fortunately, at the time of the fire the bus was stationary in the depot and there were no passengers or staff on board.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Firefighters responded to the scene and worked to put out the flames and secure the area.

Investigations are underway to determine the origin of the fire and assess any damage to surrounding structures.
