The conditions of a twenty-five-year-old who fell into a cistern while working on a farm in the Padria countryside are serious.

For reasons that are currently being investigated, he fell three meters, suffering a head injury.

He was transported by 118 helicopter to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.

The Alghero-based helicopter intervened on site with the medical team and the Alpine Rescue helicopter technician on board who, after having stabilized him, immediately proceeded to extricate him and put him in a stretcher to be able to take him out of the tank and subsequently transport him by helicopter to the hospital in Sassari.

The inspectors of the prevention and safety at work service have started the necessary investigations to establish the dynamics of the accident and any responsibilities.
