Two apartments involved and 18 declared temporarily uninhabitable, until checks are carried out by the competent technicians. This is the result of the explosion, followed by a fire, which occurred around 4 pm today in a building in via Guido Rossa in Guspini . The fire also caused four injuries: three were taken to the hospital in San Gavino for having breathed in smoke, one for burns reported in an attempt to put out the flames. Among those involved was also a 100-year-old woman.
The firefighters of the Cagliari Command intervened on site, with a rapid response team from the Sanluri detachment. In support, a tanker, a ladder truck and a self-protecting vehicle, under the coordination of the officer on duty. The teams managed to contain the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to the entire building. The occupants were all evacuated .
The flames broke out for reasons still being ascertained: the hypothesis is that the fire was caused by the explosion of a cylinder. Two apartments were involved, located on the fifth and sixth floors of the building respectively .
