Sardinia will have a law on “end of life” and will probably be, time permitting, the second region in Italy to approve it, after Tuscany».

Governor Alessandra Todde announced this on the sidelines of Valentina Petrini's show “The Suitcase of Freedom - History of a Civil Disobedience” , dedicated to the theme of end-of-life and the right to self-determination, which was held in the Chamber of Deputies.

"Our law," Todde explained, " has been filed and now it must go to the committee to be discussed . And, like Tuscany, we will be a region that will make a "leap forward" on this issue.

"It is a path - the governor added on Facebook - that I share with the entire majority in the Regional Council, starting with President Comandini, and that I hope will also find consensus in large sectors of the opposition. Two regions that adopt a measure of this kind, paving the way for others, represent a strong incentive for Parliament to do its duty and fill this regulatory void".
