«Obtaining from the National Government the convocation of the Control Room, foreseen by the 2011 Green Chemistry Protocol, as required by law, is the first step that the Region will take. We will also have a meeting with Eni to start a discussion on all the industrial issues affecting the area, and we will continue to engage with the unions to maintain a constant dialogue." This was said by the regional councilor for Industry, Emanuele Cani, at the end of the discussion with the CGIL, CISL and UIL confederals - Massimiliano Muretti, Pier Luigi Ledda and Marco Foddai - and the trade unions at the regional headquarters in via Roma, in Sassari.

On the occasion of his stop in the north-west, the representative of the Todde council visited the Fiume Santo thermoelectric power plant where the 2022 Fiume Santo Energy Park project was illustrated, which includes 1 million euros of investments to give a vital future to the EP site after the phase out from coal expected in 2028.
