It is an 80-year-old man (at first there was talk of a woman), who lost a lot of blood following the collision.

118 rescuers intervened on the spot and attempted resuscitation maneuvers, which unfortunately proved useless.

Driving the car - a Peugeot 107 - a 53-year-old man. The driver was subjected to a breathalyzer, which resulted negative.

The carabinieri are also in action, for the findings that will help clarify the exact dynamics of the incident. Two other Arma patrols intervened to manage the roads.
