Elderly woman attacked at home with a knife scares off the robber

He entered an elderly woman's home to steal money and jewelry, and pulled a knife on her. The perpetrator of the armed robbery is believed to be a young man, with whom a violent struggle ensued . In an attempt to disarm him, the woman, who was screaming for help, sustained injuries to her hand.

The attack took place during the night between Monday and yesterday in the Zunturinu neighbourhood, in the centre of Tortolì .
