He had just sold drugs to a twenty-eight-year-old, without realizing that the carabinieri were watching him. The immediate intervention of the military led to the arrest of a twenty-six-year-old from Cagliari, resident in the city and already known to the police, for possession and dealing of narcotics. The episode occurred last night, in the Stampace neighborhood of Cagliari.

During a service aimed at preventing and combating drug dealing, the Carabinieri stopped the alleged dealer and proceeded with a personal search . This led to the recovery of 790 euros in small denomination banknotes, 16 doses of marijuana for a total weight of 46 grams and 15 doses of hashish for a total weight of 40 grams. The military then carried out a house search which found two precision scales and material useful for packaging the doses. All the material was seized .

The twenty-six year old is now under house arrest: this morning the hearing with direct procedure . The operation is part of the control services in Stampace, which have been intensified by decision of the Committee for order and security of Cagliari.
