The hearing with a fast-track procedure against a twenty-five-year-old unemployed man resident in Selargius , already known to the police, who was responsible for a dangerous night- time escape on board his car, moreover without a license, along the roads of the hinterland, concluded with the validation of the arrest and the plea bargain of a seven-month prison sentence, with the benefit of conditional suspension.

The events occurred during the night, when the Carabinieri, engaged in a routine road control service, intercepted a car travelling at high speed along Provincial Road 8, in the Terr'e Teula area in the Monserrato area.

Despite the order to stop issued by the police, the driver ignored the order, accelerating further in an attempt to evade detection. The escape ended in the municipality of Selargius, where the young man stopped near his home and was apprehended and secured by the police.

Following the investigation, the twenty-five-year-old was also charged with driving without a license as a repeat offender . After reconstructing the incident and completing the necessary formalities, the man was arrested and, after spending the night under house arrest, appeared before the judicial authorities for a summary trial, which resulted in a plea bargain sentence of seven months with a suspended sentence.
