Luras is preparing to host a new edition of Domos Abbeltas, the event that celebrates the local identity, history, and excellence through a rich program of events spread across June 19, 20, and 21, 2026.
The event will kick off on Friday, June 19th, with an interactive talk on the development of the Luras area, between past and future, featuring experts from various cultural and professional fields. The evening will focus on flavors with the opening of the "Vicolo di Vino," a tasting itinerary involving numerous local wineries and wineries, accompanied by the inauguration of the temporary wine shop curated by the Wine Tasters.
Saturday, June 20th, will be dedicated to the traditional domos abbeltas. After the official inauguration in Piazza del Popolo, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the workshops of ancient crafts, artisan demonstrations, and traditional Lurese cuisine. There will also be moments dedicated to memory and popular culture, with guided walks through the historic center, performances by youth folk groups, and a concert by singer-songwriter Roberto Diana in the Church of Nostra Signora del Rosario.
On Sunday, June 21st, the program will continue with a guided excursion into archaeology and landscape. Special attention will also be paid to Sardinia's musical traditions, with a demonstration of launeddas (a type of drum) making. The afternoon will feature a presentation of Francesco Canu's book, performances by the Coro Su Bubugnulu, the "Su Cunzertu Antigu" group, and guitarist and composer Mauro Manca.
