Dolianova, the commuters' protest: «Restore the Arst stop»
With the closure of a stretch of Corso Repubblica to traffic, the inconvenience for those who have to travel by bus increases

The immediate restoration of the Arst bus stop near the MD supermarket in the direction of Donori-Sant'Andrea Frius. The Dolianova commuters' committee requested this after the closure to traffic of a section of Corso Repubblica due to the collapse of a historic building.
"The buses that leave from Cagliari currently stop only in Piazza Brigata Sassari - says the spokesperson of the Committee Elisabetta Caredda - all the other stops have been temporarily eliminated. We ask that at least the last stop exiting from Dolianova be restored by having the buses enter from the industrial area".
The proposal includes an extension of the route to limit the inconvenience to commuters. Now it will be Arst to evaluate its feasibility. "I remind you that commuters pay a stretch of virtual kilometers equal to the route that the bus takes to Donori - continues Caredda - we are the first to understand that an alternative route could create difficulties for the transport company but in this case we are in an emergency situation". In the next few days, work will begin on securing Corso Repubblica for which the estimated date of completion of the construction site is not known at the moment.
