An elderly woman, clearly confused and disoriented, stopped this afternoon near a bar on Corso Garibaldi, asking for help in trying to locate her family.

The woman, agitated and unable to remember her precise identity, attracted the attention of those present, who immediately alerted the police. Police cars arrived on the scene and, after some investigation, were able to calm her down and identify her. Despite this, however, it was not possible to immediately contact the woman's relatives.

Given her severe disorientation, the 118 emergency medical service was also called, who took charge of the woman and assisted her while they waited to trace her family and reconstruct the situation.

Fortunately, the woman caught his attention on a street away from the city center and, perhaps by chance, did not head towards the outskirts, where the chances of rescue and help would have been less.
