Important acknowledgment, for the second consecutive year, for the University Hospital of Cagliari in the field of digital public communication: the golden smartphone that certifies first place in Italy has been awarded.

The recognition, promoted by PA Social (the National Association of Public Communication and Digital Information), chaired by Francesco Di Costanzo, was presented this morning during the ceremony that took place in Rome in the spaces of Meta at Binario F

There were 65 competitors in the running between public administrations, national bodies, universities, regions, municipalities, health and hospital companies, chambers of commerce, regional councils.

The nominations were evaluated by a scientific jury of experts, made up of important exponents from the world of journalism, communication, digital and innovation, and also by the popular vote.

The Aou of Cagliari won thanks to the various projects put in place on the digitization front: the digital Urp, which allows citizens to get in touch with the Policlinico Duilio Casula and San Giovanni di Dio and get answers in real time, but also Anna, the 3D digital virtual assistant equipped with artificial intelligence that helps citizens find their way around the hospital.

And again digital customer satisfaction: when patients leave the Policlinico or San Giovanni di Dio they receive a text message with a link that allows them to express an opinion on the perceived quality of assistance in healthcare facilities.

«We are very happy for this recognition», says Chiara Seazzu, general manager of the Cagliari Aou, «for our company, communication is strategic because it allows us to improve the daily dialogue with our fellow citizens, strengthening the bond of trust between patients and sanitary system".

The administrative director, Antonio Tognotti, was also satisfied: «We are proud of such an important result: digitization is essential to improve the quality of our services»

A result, says Fabrizio Meloni, Head of Communications and External Relations of the University Hospital of Cagliari, «the result of teamwork, of a team of communication professionals and of a strong and close collaboration between all the structures of the Aou . We are present daily and organically on all social networks with record numbers. All this thanks to a great commitment and the investments that the company puts in place every day to support an activity highly appreciated by citizens".
