The autopsy of Natalie Tanda, who died at the age of 8 on Saturday evening in the Civil Hospital of Alghero, has been assigned. The examination will be carried out on February 19 in Sassari.

The date of the examination was set today by the prosecutor Enrica Angioni, head of the investigation. The autopsy cannot be performed by one of the doctors from the Institute of Legal Medicine of Sassari, because the facility is part of the same health authority ASL 1 as the civil hospital of Alghero.

The prosecutor's office has already seized the medical records, to begin shedding light on the sudden death of the little girl from Villanova Monteleone . The death occurred two days after an operation on the tonsils in the ENT department of the facility in the Catalan city.

The little girl's family, represented by lawyers Marco Costa and Romina Casula, also intends to appoint an expert witness to assist in the autopsy.
