Dozens of non-compliant toys, lacking warnings in Italian and the CE mark and therefore potentially dangerous for children have been seized in Olbia.

The measure was triggered during an inspection of a sales facility in the Gallura city, conducted by Sassari Customs officials in tandem with the Local Police.

In addition to the seizure, the business was given an administrative fine, which could reach up to 10 thousand euros.

Furthermore, the presence of the same in the displays intended for the commercial activity was ascertained

sale of numerous counterfeit toys or copies similar to the originals with the reproduction of the logo

of a registered trademark.

For this reason the owner was reported to the judicial authorities.
