Crash on the 130 in Decimomannu, two injured in red code
A man and a woman were airlifted to hospitalBad accident a few steps from the Decimomannu roundabout on the 130: two cars involved, a woman transported to Brotzu by helicopter in red code.
The accident occurred around 3pm today, December 24th. The dynamics have not yet been clarified, but from the first reconstructions it would seem that the white Lancia Ypsilon, coming from San Sperate, was hit by a gray BMW which was proceeding towards Iglesias . The first car ended up on the roadside guardrail, while the BMW collided with the signs signaling the junction, bending the poles.
The Sos volunteers of San Sperate and a 118 helicopter intervened on the spot to pick up one of the drivers. At least one other man would have been involved in the accident, also in red code.
The section of the 130 has been blocked by the carabinieri who are continuing the surveys. Traffic towards Iglesias is diverted directly towards the town of Decimomannu or towards San Sperate currently.
