Two people injured , one of them very seriously. This is the provisional toll of an accident that occurred this afternoon on the State Road 126 a few kilometers from Calasetta .

According to the police , two cars collided : a Panda and a Citroen . The one who got the worst of it was an employee from Sant'Antioco who was transported by helicopter to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari . He suffered very serious injuries to one leg. He risks amputation of the limb. A woman was also injured in the collision.

Avas ambulances and helicopter rescue intervened on the spot. Traffic was blocked for over an hour. Surveys are still underway at the site of the accident
