Covid infections in Sardinia are increasing again. And the number of hospitalized patients is also increasing, both in intensive care and in ordinary wards.

The positivity rate is 8%, with just over 3,200 swabs performed.

Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Monday 20 December 2021: “In Sardinia today there are 259 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (222 yesterday, ed), on the basis of 1493 people tested. A total of 3229 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

There are 12 patients admitted to intensive care units (one more than yesterday).

There are 119 patients admitted to the medical area (three more than yesterday).

4053 are the cases of home isolation (111 more than yesterday).

There is no death (yesterday a victim, ed) ".

Exactly one year ago - on 20 December 2020 - 311 new infections and seven deaths were recorded in Sardinia ( All data ).
