New Covid infections in Sardinia are still decreasing, but they remain above 500 in 24 hours.

Instead, the increase in patients admitted to hospitals continues and there is a new victim. With over 6,600 tests performed, the positive rate on the island stands at 8.1%.

Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Monday 3 January 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 543 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity, based on 2420 people tested. A total of 6,637 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

There are 18 patients admitted to intensive care units (one more than yesterday).

There are 174 patients admitted to the medical area (15 more than yesterday).

There are 9444 cases of home isolation (328 more than yesterday).

The death of a 73-year-old woman residing in the province of Nuoro is recorded ”.

Exactly one year ago - January 3, 2021 - the regional epidemic bulletin recorded 194 new positive cases and 9 deaths in 24 hours ( All data ).
