Anti-fraud operation in a retail store in Tempio Pausania.
The officials of the Excise, Customs and Monopoly Agency (ADM), together with the agents of the local police of Tempio Pausania seized 44 items, namely toys, without the necessary CE marking and warnings in Italian.
The seized products violated the safety regulations for products intended for children.
An administrative sanction is foreseen ranging from a minimum of 1,500 to a maximum of 10,000 euros for placing toys on the national territory that do not comply with safety standards, and which could bear false or counterfeit brands, in violation of industrial property rights.
