It took a week of investigations, based on video surveillance footage, to identify the alleged perpetrator of the copper theft committed on February 10th from a farm in Decimoputzu: the Carabinieri of the Decimomannu station reported a forty-one-year-old man.
The investigation began with a complaint filed by a fifty-six-year-old man: the victim had reported to the police that, the previous evening, someone had broken into his business and managed to remove approximately 100 meters of copper wiring.
The Carabinieri immediately initiated investigations, reviewing and meticulously analyzing the images recorded by the video surveillance systems in the affected area. This allowed them to reconstruct the sequence of events during the break-in, identifying the thief.
